Let me explain you what it is, the corona virus is a virus that can spreads a range of illnesses in humans including common cold and more severe forms which are life-threatening. The risk of severe illness causes to very sick people who have serious chronic medical conditions like Heart disease, Diabetes, Lung disease. This has now affected people in 197 countries in the world. More than 3lakh people died over 190 countries in the world. On March 11, the COVID-19 outbreak was characterized by the WHO. Due to this great awareness of corona pandemic, we must fight with it.

CATCH IT: Germs spread easily. Always carry tissues and use them to catch your cough or sneeze.
BIN IT: Germs can live for several hours on tissues. Dispose of your tissue as soon as possible.
KILL IT: Hands can transfer germs to every surface you touch. Clean your hands as soon as you can.
So, we can fight this pandemic by the non – violence method. World Health Organization (WHO) says that we no need to panic about corona virus. We can take the basic protective measures against the new corona virus to take care of your health and protect others by doing the followings:
- Avoid touching your face, regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub (sanitizer) or wash them with soap and water. Avoid close contact with people who are showing possible symptoms such as cough or sneeze.
- Maintain at least 1- meter (3 feet) distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing.
- The fact is that good hygiene is the best way to prevent illness and masks are more effective when worn by people showing symptoms. Make sure you, and the people around you, follow good respiratory hygiene. By following good respiratory hygiene, you may protect the people around you from viruses such as cold, flu and COVID-19.
- Stay home if you feel unwell.
- If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention and call in advance. Calling in advance will allow your health care provider to quickly direct you to the right health facility.
- Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has developed guidance to help in the risk assessment and management of people with potential exposures to COVID-19.
We must fight the corona pandemic because when someone coughs or sneeze they spray small liquid droplets from their nose or mouth which may contain virus. If you are too close to the person coughing, you can breathe in the droplets, including the COVID-19 virus. This means cover your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze. Then dispose of the used tissue immediately because droplets spread virus. Stay informed on the latest developments about COVID-19 helps to follow advice given by your healthcare provider, your national and local public health authority or your employer on how to protect yourself and others from COVID-19.
In my perspective, Hindu culture of south India like Tamilnadu following a different way of life or living styles which is filled with medicinal values that anybody can follow. I strongly recommend this way of life will face any kind of life abnormal bacteria’s or virus.
- People use this turmeric powder while worshiping god, while cook, for bath, and also for the traditional functions. At first, the water is mixed with the turmeric powder and spread it inside and outside the home which are of antibiotics. Then the turmeric powder is used while eating, which is an antibiotic directly go inside the body.

Hence, if anybody follows the above listed food habits and practices in their day to day life, peoples physic will develop high energetic immune system. So hopefully, people can live longer by defeating any kind of diseases.
This will also protect you and help to prevent spread of viruses and other infections.
To fight against the corona pandemic, the government plays a role by taking necessary steps to ensure that we are prepared well to face the challenge and threat posed by the growing pandemic of COVID 19. Awareness on rapid spread of corona virus is a global outbreak of disease. Hence, Prime Minister of India’s Curfew ordered to the nation is Elderly people, Children below the age of ten years, Government officials to stay indoors, People who work at private organizations to work from home, in such cases travellers may also be advised to keep a full supply of their essential medicines, in case travel gets interrupted or delayed.
To stay safe, prevention is better than cure.
